Every three weeks, March to November, we treat the foliage and the shaded cover where mosquitoes rest through the day. The barrier lands on a visit you already have. Gold includes it, from $299 every four weeks.
One crew
The crew that mows is the crew that treats.
Lawn care and mosquito control usually come from two different companies. The mosquito outfits on the Northshore don’t mow, so a barrier normally means a second company on your property and a second appointment to keep. We do both.
We also know where the water sits on your lot. We’re on it every week from April through October. The barrier goes where the mosquitoes are. On most of these lots that’s the wood line, the fence line and the shade under the shrubs.
We come back between visits.
If the mosquitoes are back before your next visit, tell us. We come back and treat again at no charge, on the first day the label allows. It’s in the terms on Gold and Platinum.
After a storm you go first.
We work Gold and Platinum properties ahead of the rest of the route. If the storm pushed a treatment, it goes on at that visit.
You don’t have to be home.
We text before we come and send a photo when the work is done.
What we spray
The product and where it goes
We put the barrier on with a backpack mist blower, and we don’t broadcast it across the open lawn. It’s hard on bees and on fish, so we keep it off anything in bloom and back from the ditch and the bayou. Tell us before the first visit if you keep bees or there’s a pond.
We need the yard clear when we treat, so bring the pets in and pick up the toys. We don’t spray in rain, and we stop when the wind would carry the mist off the property. Weather pushes a treatment to the next visit.
Standard or botanical · every three weeks
Would you rather go botanical? We run an essential-oil product instead, on the same three-week calendar and under the same state license. Tell us when you ask for the price and your quote shows what it adds.

What people ask first
- Will this get rid of all the mosquitoes?
- No. It knocks down what’s on your property, and it won’t clear the block. Standing water beats a barrier every time, and it’s usually a saucer under a pot, a clogged gutter or a tarp with a pocket in it. We’ll show you what we find on the first visit.
- What about the dog and the kids?
- After any treatment we tell you the re-entry time from the label, usually until it’s dry. Kids and pets stay off the grass until then.
- Does the barrier do anything for ticks?
- Yes, in the same pass. Ticks sit in the same shaded cover we’re already spraying. The dog still needs whatever your vet has you using.
- Can I get the barrier without the mowing?
- No. The barrier runs on a membership, so it goes on every three weeks, March to November, on your service day. Gold and Platinum include it, and Silver can add the same barrier on the same calendar.
- Do you treat inside the house?
- We treat the yard, not the house. Structural pest work is licensed separately in Louisiana and we don’t hold that license. If the problem is indoors, we’ll tell you who to call.
- When does the season start, and what about winter?
- The first barrier goes on in March and the last one in November. The invoice is the same amount every four weeks all year. On Gold we prune shrubs in January, and on Platinum the lawn health program carries the winter broadleaf control and the late-February pre-emergent.
